We work towards our goals through core programs that include nutrition, psychology and different workshops.
All our programs are based on human development, education in values, and family strengthening. We work with mothers and babies, helping them to develop their full potential.
We support families and children throughout school years until high school completion. We also help young people to ease their access to the labor market or to higher education.
We work with mothers and their babies from pregnancy until the child is 3 years old.
Our objectives are the following:
Work on the mother-child relationship.
Revalue the role of women as mothers.
Provide emotional, motor and cognitive stimulation to the baby.
In addition, we emphasize the importance of good nutrition and early detection of health problems in the baby.
As part of the comprehensive support it provides, Galilea has a speech and hearing therapy service where children can undergo assessment, diagnosis and treatment of speech and language disorders.
We address this problem and offer nutritional assessment to children who attend our center.
We plan and prepare the daily afternoon snacks and refreshments so that they are as healthy and nutritious as possible.
We run cooking, education and nutrition workshops for both parents and children.
We offer an alternative education space for children at risk of homelessness and of school dropout. More than 70 children over six years attend this space and receive educational support.
We endeavor to create a space where children feel supported, taken care of and happy. We work with different professionals such as educational psychologists, early interventionists and physical therapists, who help children to reach their optimal development.
The program is designed to help young people to connect to the world of work through training and personalized follow-up in order to promote their labor market integration.
We seek to work with each child on an individual level, addressing their abilities, learning problems and family context.
